Jingtian (Max) Xi was born in Shanghai, China in 1982. He completed his bachelor and master degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the South China University of Technology and earned his PhD degree in in Microelectronics at Fudan University. In the past 8 years, Max worked as a Senior Researcher / Project Manager in a research center founded by the Hong Kong government and affiliated with Hong Kong University.

Max joined the IT'IS Foundation in December 2017.
