Roman Svoboda
PhD Student
Roman Svoboda was born in Czech Republic.
He joined the IT'IS Foundation in January 2025 as a PhD Student.
Roman received his Bachelor’s degree in Physics at the ETH, Zurich and in 2021 he continued with a Master’s degree in Computational Science. In 2020-21 he interned at MeteoSwiss, working on GPU acceleration of the ICON weather model. During his Master's he has been involved in electromagnetic simulation projects in the fields of nanoelectronics and nonlinear optics. During his PhD he will be working on thermal modeling
