Roman Svoboda
PhD Student
Roman Svoboda was born in Czech Republic.
He joined the IT'IS Foundation in January 2024 as a PhD Student.
Roman started his Physics Bachelor’s at ETH and in 2021 and continued with a Master’s in Computational Science. In 2020-21 he also interned at MeteoSwiss, working on GPU acceleration of the ICON weather model. During his Master's he has been involved in electromagnetic simulation projects in the fields of nanoelectronics and nonlinear optics. During his PhD he will be working on thermal modeling
