Marisa M. Oliveira

Marisa studied Biomedical Engineering at the Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal, followed by a PhD in Developmental Biology at the Instituto Gulbenkian de Ciência, Portugal. After that, she came to Switzerland to work as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Zurich, with a focus on tissue morphogenesis and the 3D shapes of cells.

Marisa joined the IT’IS Foundation in January 2020 as the Scientific Coordinator.
