Joel Macht
Software Engineer
Joel Macht was born in Germany. He joined the ZMT Zurich Medtech in December 2021 and started with IT'IS March 2022.
Joel studied applied mathematics at KIT in Karlsruhe where he specialized in computer graphics. His previous work experience was in integration/e2e testing for a cloud-based data analysis tool and fabrication of blood vessel phantoms for a research institution.
Joel transitioned from an internship with ZMT which focused on prototyping GPU accelerated visualization algorithms to a general software engineering position at IT'IS. While his focus remains computer graphics, he contributes to all components of the in-house software stack.
