Ioannis Koufogiannis was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. He joined the IT'IS Foundation in March 2021.
Ioannis received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2009 and his PhD from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland, in 2014. Since 2019, he also holds the MBA degree from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland.
