The Katja Poković Research Fund
Research Projects
In addition to the fellowship award, the Katja Poković Research Fund supports highly innovative and ambitious research projects. Proposals from applicants seeking support for research in line with the purpose of the fund can be submitted by any project leader, post-doctoral fellow, or graduate student (of any gender) employed by the IT'IS Foundation. A maximum of CHF 200,000 is available for each award project for a maximum duration of 2 years. Applications from candidates of all genders and backgrounds are highly encouraged. Please note that research project awards are competitive, and that only up to two projects are funded each year.
Applications must include the following documents:
- a cover letter, including the applicant's motivation for seeking the award
- research proposal (access guidance here)
- curriculum vitae (2-page maximum) plus list of publications
Deadlines and Contact
The deadline for applications is annually on April 30, 23:59h Swiss local time. Submissions will be pre-evaluated by the Executive Team of the IT’IS Foundation (Director and Associate Directors), and suitable candidates will be invited for a formal interview. Finalist candidates must be approved by the IT'IS Foundation Board.
