The IT'IS Foundation is participating on a project – Experimentally Validated Computational Pipeline of Ultrasound Propagation and Neuron-Coupling for Non-Invasive Peripheral Nervous System Stimulation – together with Profs. Silvestro Micera of the EPFL and Emmeric Tanghe of Ghent University. The project is funded by The Research Foundation – Flanders (FWO) in partnership with the Swiss National Science Foundation as part of the Weave Multilateral Lead Agency Procedure.
IT’IS is participating in the recently approved project A Causal Role for the Voltage-Gated Calcium Channel Cav1.2 in Mediating 5G FR1 Effects on Sleep-Associated Brain Health in Humans?, funded by the Swiss Federal Office of the Environment (FOEN).
The EURAMET Project STASIS: Standardisation for Safe Implant Scanning in MRI was approved and started on October 1, 2022. STASIS will leverage the outcomes from the previous EURAMET EMPIR JRP 17IND01 project MIMAS, which ended successfully in 2021.

Z43 partner ZMT Zurich MedTech AG and Salvia BioElectronics B.V. join forces on the OptiStim project to develop a specialized implant as an effective therapy for both chronic migraine and chronic cluster headache.
Zurich43 is collaborating on the Innosuisse project – Module for Exposure Assessment of the Absorbed Power Density of Millimeter Wave Wireless Devices (Module APD) – which started in October 2020. The project is led by the Department of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) in partnership with Schmid & Partner Engineering AG.
