Three Class III Obese ViP Models for Improved Patient Coverage

At the request of the magnetic resonance industry, the IT’IS Foundation has created three new class III obese Virtual Population models. With a body mass index of more than 60 kg/m2, these new computational phantoms are the first to represent the upper end of the population.

Release of the Breast Tumor Patient Models Repository

IT’IS is pleased to host a new repository developed at the Erasmus University Medical Center that consists of 22 unique breast models for hyperthermia research. The Breast Tumor Patient Models hold important variations in terms of tumor size, tumor location, and tumor depth.

Tissue Properties Database V4-1: Updates for Low Frequency

IT'IS has upgraded its Tissue Properties Database. The new version includes the latest updates form the literature on low-frequency electric conductivity measurements as well as additions for the tissues that form the internal structures of the eye.

FDA Extends MDDT Qualification to IMAnalytics V3.0 and MRIxViP V2.1

FDA Qualification of the IT’IS & ZMT MDDT toolset IMAnalytics with MRIxViP1.5T/3.0T and BCLib now also includes passive implants (ASTM F2182-19ε2) and Region-of-Interest Field Extraction for ISO 10974 Tier 2.

MRI Mice V1.0: New Mouse Models for Computational Investigations

IT’IS has released four new mouse models segmented from magnetic resonance imaging data. All four models – a pregnant model, a 12-week-old female and male model and a 3-week-old male model – are posable and are made available together with the corresponding MR images.

NeuroRat V4-0 – Detailed Rat Anatomy for Neuromodulation Investigations

It’s a rat! After two long years of unremitting work, IT’IS has released NeuroRat V4-0, the first computational anatomical model with nerve trajectories for neuro-electrophysiology simulations. The new posable and functionalized whole-body model includes 179 tissues and functionalized nerve trajectories.

MARTIN V1.0 and ViP Hand Library for WPT Evaluations

As of this week, a new whole body pediatric numerical simulation model of a 29-month-old boy is available in our extended Virtual Population (ViP) library. MARTIN V1.0 was developed by the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA, and will be hosted by IT’IS. We are also pleased to announce the release of the IT’IS ViP Hand Library specifically designed for evaluation of wireless power transfer systems.

Miss Able V3.0: The First-Ever Computational Monkey Model

IT’IS has released Miss Able V3.0the first full-body monkey computational anatomical model. The new model features detailed nerve segmentations for all of the major peripheral nerves in the entire body and has more than 300 different individual tissue classes.
