Manuel Murbach was recently named the Arthur Pilla Young Scientist at BioEM2017, the joint annual meeting of BEMS and EBEA, in Hangzhou, China June 5 – 9, 2017, for his platform presentation entitled "MRI radiofrequency exposure estimation in morphed patient anatomies".

The Physics in Medicine & Biology Citations Prize, the Rotblat Medal, for 2014 has been awarded to the IT’IS Foundation and colleagues for the paper “The Virtual Family–Development of surface-based anatomical models of two adults and two children for dosimetric simulations” by A. Christ et al.
