The diameter of nerve tissues is listed as a direct measurement along one or two main axis of the nerve (Diameter 1 & 2). The first section titled “Combined Diameter” provides an increased set of values for the diameter by combining direct measurements with the calculated diameter from the cross sectional area of the nerve.
Note: The combined diameter no longer contains a separation into the two diameter axis
