Hazael Montanaro

Computational Life Sciences

 

Hazael Montanaro was born in Asuncion, Paraguay in 1987. He joined the IT’IS Foundation in 2015 as a PhD student.

 

Hazael received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Yale University (USA) in 2011 working in the eLab on low current measurement systems, and earned his Master’s degree in 2014 from the ETH and UZH in the Institute of Neuroinformatics working on computer vision algorithms for the Dynamic Vision Sensor.

Hazael is currently working on numerical simulation and analysis of acoustic waves, neuronal stimulation, and magnetic nano particles in the Computational Life Sciences group.
