Thomas Fussinger was born in 1993 in France, in the Alsace.
Thomas relocated to Switzerland to study, where he graduated with a Master's in Microengineering from EPFL. His master thesis research was performed in Germany at Carl Zeiss on laser stabilization for confocal microscopy.
Before joining IT'IS, Thomas worked for EPFL as a scientific assistant, where he used femto-laser machining to develop a tool for retinal vein cannulation manufactured in glass. He was also involved in the development, modeling, and characterization of 2-degrees-of-freedom mechanical oscillators for watches.
Thomas joined the IT'IS team as an Electromagnetics Application Engineer in May 2019. His first task is to finalize the perfusion phantom.
