Niels Kuster Presents Keynote Lecture on IoT at Symposium Co-Organized by the AUDEN Group and the IEEE EMC Chapter

IT'IS Director Niels Kuster presented a keynote lecture entitled “EM Evaluation and Optimization of IoT Systems: Standards, Software and Instrumentations” at a symposium co-organized by the AUDEN Techno. Corp. and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Chapter in Taipei on July 4, 2018. The workshop on "Next Generation Smart-Life Bioelectromagnetic and Future Communication Technologies" was opened by Li Fung Chang, the Deputy Director of the 5G Technology Program Office in the Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT) of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA).

Niels’s presentation covered the research results of Zurich43 from wireless power transfer to 5G applications related to Internet of Things (IoT), including basic research, investigations related to standards, and the development and applications of novel advanced evaluation tools.
