The second workshop of the EUROSTARS project RESTORE was hosted by ZMT at Z43 on May 25, 2018. The workshop started with a welcome address by Niels Kuster, Director of the IT'IS Foundation and ZMT's President of the Board, followed by project updates from each of the partners in attendance.
The project partners were represented by Nico van den Berg of the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMCU), Jurriaan Bakker and Edoardo Paoles of GTX medical, Andreas Rowald and Nathan Greiner of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL), and Marco Capogrosso from the University of Fribourg. Attending from Z43 were Esra Neufeld of ZMT, and Bryn Lloyd, Antonino Cassará and Hazael Montanaro of the IT'IS Foundation. Specifically, progress was reported on work packages related to system design, integration, and verification and validation, as well as model development and personalization. The workshop was wrapped up with prioritization of action items and identification of the next steps.
