"Brown Bag Lunch" Seminar Series Special Guest Prof Sean Hill

Sean Hill, Professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and Scientific Director of the Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Toronto CA, visited the IT'IS Foundation on Monday, July 2. He was a guest speaker in the Brown Bag Lunch Seminar series with a talk on "The Multiscale Brain: Linking Genes, Brain States, Behavior and the Clinic."

Prof. Hill was formerly the Co-Director of the Blue Brain Project of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), located at Campus Biotech in Geneva. His talk covered his work on the development of large-scale computational models of brain circuitry and neuroinformatics. His talk was well attended, and the audience included two sleep specialists from the University of Zurich and long-time collaborators of IT'IS, Professors Peter Achermann and Reto Huber.

It was a very great pleasure to welcome Prof. Hill to Z43 – many thanks for a riveting presentation!
