China's National Institute of Metrology Visits the IT'IS Foundation

Prof. Teng Junheng, Director of the National Institute of Metrology (NIM) China, along with several NIM Department Chairs – Huang Baolong, Wu Hai, Lu Mei, and Li Zhengkun – visited the IT'IS Foundation on September 11, 2017. IT'IS Founder and Director Niels Kuster was joined by Mark Douglas, SPEAG's Katja Pokovic, Parisa Fallahi, and Romain Meyer, and ZMT's Erdem Olfi, as zurich43 hosts. The program of the visit included an introduction to zurich43 research activities, descriptions of SPEAG products DASY6, cDASY6, cSAR3D, and 5G Solutions, and ZMT's Sim4Life.

The NIM, founded in 1955 as a non-profit public service institution, is China’s highest technical authority in metrology. Under the authority of China's Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), the NIM conducts fundamental metrology research and is responsible for national standards and certified reference materials. During their stay in Switzerland, the visitors planned also to meet with the Swiss Government in Bern.
