This year’s International Interdisciplinary Cerebrovascular Symposium and IntraCranial Stent meeting, organized by the SwissNeuroFoundation, featured several research areas of interest and relevance to IT’IS, including computational flow dynamics (CFD) and the use of simulation for regulatory procedures.
After a fascinating series of talks on Devices and CFD, Esra Neufeld gave a well-received presentation about ‟Computational Safety and Efficacy Assessment, Validation, and Uncertainty Quantification for Regulatory Purposes” in the session on‟CFD - Regulations and Hemodynamics” that he co-chaired with Sheffield University Professor Pat Lawford.
