IT’IS and ZMT Zurich MedTech at MEET THE EXPERT - Implants Conference

Dr. Earl Zastrow of the IT’IS Foundation and Drs. Cabanes and Minana Maiques of ZMT Zurich MedTech attended a conference entitled MEET THE EXPERT - Implants that took place in Interlaken, Switzerland. The 2-day event (April 28 – 29) convened speakers and exhibitors with the aim to present new developments in area of passive and active medical implants and to trigger collaborations.

Dr. Zastrow gave a talk entitled “MR Safety Evaluation of AIMD: RF-induced Heating” and, at an exhibition booth shared with ZMT, answered inquiries about various services offered by IT’IS.

The ZMT team offered a first glance on its brand new product, Sim4Life, the first commercial multiphysics, multiscale simulation platform for computational biomedical applications and life sciences in complex anatomies.
