IT'IS: Two New PhD Defenses

Two IT'IS students have their PhD defenses at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich (ETHZ):

Esra Neufeld successfully defended his thesis on cancer treatment planning, “High Resolution Hyperthermia Treatment Planning,” on August 19, 2008.

Stefan Schild successfully defended his thesis on computational modeling, “Advances in Material Modeling in EM-FDTD,” on August 28, 2008.
