Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks (SCENHIR) report

The European Commission has published an opinion of the Scientific Committee on Emerging and Newly Identified Health Risks (SCENHIR) on the possible health risks of electromagnetic fields (EMF). This is an update of the previous opinion published in 2001 by the Scientific Committee on Toxicity, Ecotoxicity and the Environment (CSTEE). It is expected that the Commission will follow-up on this recommendation in research work planned under the 7th Research Framework Programme.
