2nd International Workshop on Photonics Applied to Electromagnetic Measurements (PEM2017)

The IT'IS Foundation will organise the 2nd International Workshop on Photonics Applied to Electromagnetic Measurements (PEM2017) taking place from 05-06 October, 2017 in Zurich, Switzerland. Initiated in 2015 by the PEM Technical Committee of the Japanese Institute of Electronic, Information and Communication Engineers (IEICE), the workshop focuses on research, development, and application of photonics in electromagnetics measurements and closely related fields, such as fiber-optic signal transmission, photonic signal processing, display integrated antennas, and photonic device technology. The first workshop was successfully held in 2015 in Kyoto, Japan.

The scope of PEM2017 ranges from basic theory/techniques of photonics-applied electromagnetic measurement and closely related technologies to new applications and devices. The 2-day program will feature oral presentations where authors will be able to present original work related to conference topics. A dedicated poster session will further provide an interactive forum for participants to discuss their work with colleagues in a stimulating and interdisciplinary environment.

• Prof. Dr. Satoru Kurokawa (AIST, Japan).

The PEM2017 planning committee welcomes abstracts for presentations and poster sessions. Abstract submission is open until June 30, 2017.
